The condition of your tyres and the choice of manufacturer are vitally important to the performance of your car.
Tyre Pressure
It is important to regularly check your tyre pressures for optimum performance, reliability and durability. Over-inflated tyres can damage the tyre structure and cause unnecessary wear to the centre tread, wear whilst under-inflation will cause rapid irregular tyre wear and damage to the side wall.
Tyre Tread
The tread provides grip. The deeper the tread depth, the more grip your tyres will have, particularly in wet weather. It is important not to let your tread depths wear down to the raised rubber strips at the bottom of the main tread grooves as this indicates there is only 1.6mm of tread remaining. The law states that you should have a minimum of 1.6mm of tread across the centre three-quarters of the tyre. These are minimum standards and should not be regarded as the norm.
Our tyre prices are very competitive and certainly compare favourably to some of the national tyre and exhaust chains.
